how do people decide on one name?! 😅

We're having genetic testing done this week and should know by Friday or Saturday what the sex of our baby is. I'm 11 weeks today. I would LOVE to announce the sex with the name... but how do you pick one? 😂 I'm hoping it will be easier once we know the sex. But for now, here is my list. Pick your favorite for each sex! Our last name is Oldham (pronounced ol-dahm not old-ham lol)

Girl: Elsie, Brielle, Brynn, Naomi, Noah, River, Sage, and Lily.

Boy: Asher, Alder, Noah, Boone, Greyson (Grey for short), Theodore, Fox (my absolute fave), and Jensen.

We don't have any set middle name for a girl, although I would like to use a family name like Renee', Susanna, Elizabeth, Mae, or Alcova.

For a boy we'd have to use the middle name Aaron due to a family tradition in hub's family, the first grandson gets the grandfather's first name as his middle.

Do you have to pay extra for this testing that tells the sex? Do you have to ask for it? Is this new?? Sorry I suck with names lol

I think Brynn Alcova sounds cute but all the choices are fun, if fox is your favourite for a boy I'd go with that you want a name you love if the middle name is something already chosen by your hubbies side ☺️

For both our girls we used our own maternal grandmother's first names for their middle names.  It ties in a little family heritage. For the first names we just picked names that felt right to our family. There's so many beautiful names out there but finding one that suits your family can be hard. My advice is to pick one that they can grow with... That works with any age. I know easier said than done.

I like all your name choices. I would recommend though putting each name you pick with each middle name picked and put your last name on the end. Then practice saying them in a sentence people say this really helps. It shows you which ones will roll off the tongue better together. Might help you choose. Have fun!👶🏼

Idk! We had only one name picked out, then husband had a dream where we named her Emma! So now we have the originally picked name plus Emma. 😂
