This question is for single mother in Florida... My mother used to work CDS and she insisting that I have to give the baby my last name first to avoid problems with getting benefits when needed.

She also wants me to have the baby in the city she lives because I do have some issues with the daddy and it's easier for judge to give me custody if I have the baby away from. Granted my legal residential address is my parents address even though I live with baby daddy part of the week because he's closer to my job...

Anyone have issues getting benefits or having primary care given to you over the father because of last name of the hurts certificate or residential address???
