Should I dump him?

Would you dump a guy who said he believes there should be a "limit" on how many sexual partners a person can have in a lifetime? He's had 8 or 9 (that I know of) but doesn't seem to think this rule applies to him.

Whats annoying about this is that he doesnt apply is own rule to himself.

Personally, i wouldnt be with someone who believed that. Nor could i be with someone who lived my double standards.

if he doesn't want to be with someone that's had more sexual partners than he's comfortable with then that's completely up to him. but hes being hypocritical not applying that same rule to himself. I wouldn't want to be with someone with double standards like that...

I agree but for both genders, I know people are probably gonna talk shit to me for this but honestly I wouldn't want anyone that's been with everyone. Your body shouldn't be passed around but that's just my perception, I have no control nor do I care what everyone else does unless I'm dating you.

Someone who doesn't live by rules they think apply to others, and someone who considers someone's worth based on their number of sexual partners isn't the kind of boyfriend I would want.

I've been with my fiancé over two years now and he's never once asked me about how many people I slept with. It's irrelevant.

A good male friend of mine comes from a culture where males can hand as many partners as they want,  but they are expected to remain faithful to each partner once they are committed.  Females are allowed 2-3 partners and it can only be committed relationships,  no casual sex.  Its bassakwards to me but that's how he was raised.  He'll never get serious with a girl who's had even half as many partners as him.  Personally,  I never cared as long as I wasn't getting a disease and he was being faithful.  I figured his past is his past,  until he cheats,  then I'm really disgusting by his past.

Should I dump him?
