UK benefits.

I'm from the UK and have had to give up work due to severe anxiety, I have a doctors sickness note but the company I work for doesn't pay sickness leave, so the doctor told me to go to the job centre and get sickness pay that way. I've been looking online and it says contribution based sickness pay or income based sickness pay. I haven't paid enough contribution national insurance credits because I didn't work for the company for long and the income based goes by my partners as well because I live with him and he works more than the stated 24 hours. Will I still get some sickness pay even though I don't qualify for either? I'm 9 weeks pregnant and have a valid sickness note, surely they can't leave me with no money whatsoever?
