Advice please!!

Stephani
So today I get a call from my OBGYN secretary. She was asking for a 1500 deductible that I didn't even know I had to pay to the doctor in order to deliver my baby. I am due March 12. I was fired from my job in January. And I don't even have everything I need for my new born. And here is a doctor asking me for $1500 a few day before delivery? On top of that, I have a hospital deductible of 2500. Anyways, I have a family plan and being that I did not want to affect the plan we all have. I did not tell the insurance I was not working the past 3 months.
After the nasty call from my OB office, I was forced to report same. So now I have Medicaid for my self. Effective March 1st and my family have coverage.
Question is. Can I just go to the hospital for my routine check up prior to delivery. I'm due in a week. I havent had a sonogram since I was 34 weeks and it was not even a detailed one. She just gave me the baby's weight.  I currently don't know if I'm dilated one bit and or if baby has enough fluid. I feel like I'm ready. But I don't know what to expect. For all I know I need a caesarean to deliver. Where can I go for a pre delivery check up😩 with straight Medicaid?
