What were your first signs of labor and how soon before labor did they start?

With my first my water broke without contractions and I had to have pitocin. I called the on-call OB first and they told me I had to go in.

My first was contractions, really light then got really strong. My second, my water was leaking all day. Then boom a really hard contraction then my water broke!

With my oldest daughter is was contractions with my middle child my water broke in my sleep and with my youngest I was dilating but I didn't know if I was having contractions so I got induced

I didn't have any signs, was laying in bed, rolled over, heard a popping sound and my waters broke. Got my first contraction about 10 minutes later and the 5 hours after my waters broke I was holding my baby.

I didn't have any signs until I woke up on the morning of my scheduled induction with contractions. they just felt like menstrual cramps but they kept coming and going so that's how I knew lol
