When are you sharing your BFP?

My husband and I decided we don't want to tell anyone till our first appt and scan, April 7, at 8 weeks. He thinks then it is official and we are only telling immediate family. And then on Mother's Day, 13 weeks, we are going to announce it to everyone. What are your thoughts or plans??
