could i still have a small baby bump at 38 weeks if im chubby ??

so im 5'1 in a half and about 5 weeks pregnant and i dont really want a big bump lol is there still a chance i could have a small baby bump at full term ?? anything i can eat to keep my weight down so my belly dont get so big ?? i live with my dad and i really dont want him finding out till i move out .

No theres nothing you can do the bump is determined by many things like your height and weight babys position at the moment how big baby is and do not try to lose weight while pregnant your baby needs all the nutrients he or she can get from you just tell your dad youre pregnant hes going to figure it out anyway that you got pregnant while living with him when you tell him how far along you are and when the baby is due

I only gained 20lbs in my pregnant. It was obvious I was pregnant by 7 months. I was freaking huge. My belly was shaped like a watermelon.

If you are at a healthy weight, just eat healthy. I was already 145 when I got pregnant and my doctor told me it was ok to gain 5-10 lbs, but that I was healthy. I definitely gained more than that the hungrier I got. If you're on the thinner side, I've had friends whose doctors asked them to gain a few lbs for sure . Check in with your doctor about your weight and see what they suggest for you. You definitely don't want to lose any weight but eat high nutrient foods and take your pre natal vitamins. Once you get  cravings, it's hard to not start indulging ! But you may not start showing until about 3-4 months into your pregnancy . I suggest baggy clothes if you are really worried . However, I would suggest you let your family know also.

No there is nothing you can eat to keep a small belly! Do not starve your poor child just so you don't have to admit to your dad what you did! That's awful! Eat like a normal person and grow that baby healthy!
