Does anyone know if they put you on an antibiotic for a sinus infection or if they recommend over the counter medicines? I don't really want to have to go to the drs if I don't have to! I'm a nanny so I'm always exposed to germs, and my boss is a nurse so don't think I'm diagnosing myself 😂

Typically they put you on a 2 week round of antibiotics, usually coupled with a steroid nasal spray such as mometasone to reduce inflammation and aid drainage. You can buy a netipot kit over the counter to help flush out your sinuses.

Yes they do. I have fucked up sinuses so I get them a lot. The antibiotics make you feel better soo much faster than if you were to not take them though!

I had sinusitis and it sucks. Go to the doctor, he will give u antibiotics for about 2 weeks. Dont make urself suffer

Look for anything that promotes drainage. I just had one so bad and I think I took sudafed cold and sinus from rite aid. Within 15 minutes I could breathe and the pressure was gone.
