Are menstrual cups worth it? Better than tampons?

I like tampons but are the cups better? What are the positives?

Thier more eviorment and economical because thier reusable. On heavy days wash them out every few hours like maybe 5 hours. They can be worn 24 hours.  No risk toxic shock syndrome.

yes, yes, yes. i love my menstrual cup, they take a little bit of getting used to putting them in but if i have questions youtube always has had answers. i think depending on the brand 1 menstrual cup will last up to 17 years, that saves you soooo much money bc tampons are way too expensive! i love that i don't have to worry about leaking and having to run to the bathroom esp at work or school. i personally bought an athena cup off amazon and i've been using it in place of tampons since i learned how to get the hang of it. probably have saved at least 90$ already. and you don't produce any waste, no rappers or cotton being flushed. seriously, you should switch over 👍🏼

Yup, worth it. I kept getting infections from tampons. Its cleaner, healthier for you, no chance of TSS, and I've noticed a cessation in cramping!

I don't know yet. I almost bought one last night and then chickened out when I went to pay. Lol. It seems like a great idea but it seems difficult to use. So many people love them though.
