how many motile sperm for your IUI's?

DONOR SPERM: I'm so overwhelmed! Our RE wants 20mil but each vial is only 10mil minimum, so I guess we have to use 2 of the 3 we bought for ONE cycle. What have you all done? I'm ready to cry. It's been 4 years. Now we're using donor sperm and it's all new and confusing. And obviously two vials drastically increases the cost, which were already nickel and diming every possible place we can in our budget. *sigh* why is this so hard? 😞😣

My husbands count was only 8.3mil and they told us iui won't work because his numbers are too low. We have an appointment to discuss ivf but I'm still hopeful that God will work a miracle ❤️

My husband had 5mil post wash with 74% motility and they did our IUI..

Both of my IUIs were done with 90mil post wash and 95% motility.  Thankful the hubs was so consistent, but both IUIs failed.  😤
We have unexplained infertility.  Every possible test results in a normal reading, so I'm getting pissed that the IUIs haven't worked (with Clomid and a trigger shot, may I add...) when it costs us almost 1k per cycle.  Good luck to you, hope you get your BFP soon!!

4.5 years trying after a miscarriage. We go for IUI #2 Saturday (with trigger & clomid). My husband's first analysis came back at zero. Second analysis came back extremely low. They put him on clomid 3 times a week and his count has raised substantially.

No advice here because I'm struggling so bad myself. The feeling of wanting something more than anything and are literally unable to have it, kills you. Just wanted to let you know you're not alone and that I wish you two the best of luck!

Do motile sperm that aren’t progressive count?  My husband has 50 million per ml but a low percentage that are motile and even fewer that are progressively motile. How do I calculate the total motile percentage and what do I need for timed sex vs IUI ?

Donor sperm is different than fresh sperm-so numbers are going to be different. My clinic told me for donor soerm,they want at least 10 million post wash with 40 percent motility. 
IUI #1- 12 million with 40% motility BFN
IUI#2- 14 million  with 36% motility TWW

My husbands post wash count was 12 million for both days of our back to back IUI. They said 12 was great for even one day. Maybe see if they will do a back to back IUI with two vials for you to "split up" your chances. That was the cycle that gave me my BFP, currently 32 weeks with my IUI miracle. Good luck!!
