Epidural or no epidural ?

I had my secoud baby yesterday and thought i was dying the epidural did not work for me, i got it but it didnt work they didnt know why it wasn't working i was 4cm when i got it i was still having contractions 1 2 mins apart after they broke my water, the nurse went to go get the doctor that does epidural cause he was going to do it again by the time they both came back i had already had her it took me 5 mins to push her out it was the most awful pain now i wish i didnt get the epidural because it did not work everything happend so fast, and now had left me with a sore back but with my son it was a true life savor let me tell you, the pain was AWFUL.

Answer

This is my third. Don’t plan on it but I’m keeping my options open. I didn’t get it with both of my other babies so I know what to expect. The idea of having any sort of side effect from it makes me cringe.
