I lost my plug this morning and was reading hat if you loose it then you should not have sex or get in he bathtub anymore because it can cause infection, I've never heard that before only heard that about water breaking, has anyone else heard that? Is it true?

I'm not sure.  When I lost my mucus plug with my son I was in labor within the next half an hour.  I sat in the tub for about 5 hours after that and nothing bad happened.  It helped ease the pain of my contractions..

I haven't ever heard of that. I'm going to go with not true. Tons of woman lose their plug and some even do really early on. But a lot of woman will get a nice bath when having contractions to try and soothe the pain also a lot of woman give water births. If It wasn't okay I wouldn't think that water births would work very well. But I'm not sure. Maybe ask your doctor

This is true if your water leaks, but not with the mucus plug. The mucus plug cab actually regenerate or come out little by little. I didn't go into labor until 2.5 after mine came out, dr said there are zero restrictions until your water leaks, then no sex or baths.

I've never been told that. I'm pregnant with my 4th and the only time I've been told not to have sex is if my water breaks
