20 mg of letrozole ?!😳

Has anyone been prescribed to take 8 pills (2.5 mg each) on cd 5 and then 1 pill (2.5 mg) for 5 days after that?  This is the first time my dr has prescribed letrozole to me in this dose.

I haven't been responding well to the 5.  I didn't respond at all to the Clomid

This just happened to me. I was on 5 5 mg of letrozole days 3-7 with no response. The doctor then had me redose for another 5 days and return for another follicle scan on the 7th day. Still no response. This time she had me do a single dose of 20 mg letrozole and I go back for another scan on Tuesday. If that doesn’t work we will then move on to injectables. The only concern with injectables is that I have PCOS & I hear the injections are much stronger than the oral drugs so the possibility of overstimulation is high for a PCOS patient.

No not that high of a dose. I am on the 5 dose. Why such a high dose? My DR said id Letrazole doesn't work that we would try Chlomid
