has anyone?

Has anyone had no signs of labor at 39 weeks pregnant then suddenly go into labor? I haven't had a bloody show, haven't seen any mucus unless it was mixed in with discharge and I didn't notice it. No contractions. Since 35 weeks I've felt cervix pressure on and off and tightening of my belly (never at the same time). Since 38 weeks I'm sooo hungry all the time. For the last couple of days I've felt nauseous on and off. Dr won't check me for dialation till 40 weeks.
