breastfeeding to formula

Hello, I am looking for tips on transitioning from breastfeeding to formula. Babies never had formula and I'd like to transition to either stop altogether or preferably just nurse her ar night / morning . I'm starting a new job in one month and for other reasons decided this is best for me and baby. I read to give one formula bottle a day for a week and increase by one a week.
