Is it possible to be allergic to pads?

Every time I use them, my vulva and labia start hurting SO BAD. Like, it's not like period cramps. It actually hurts and it's just thr exterior of my vagina. Could I be allergic or something?

Either you're allergic or you're wearing them for extended periods of time and the moisture it's wicking away from your body is essentially giving you something similar to a diaper rash.

Yeah any kind that have plastic in the pad part break me out in an itchy rash like diaper rash. I have to have the cotton kind.
