anyone have a 26 to 31 cycle? ttc

My periods are usually around the same dates each month and always last 7 days (unfortunately). I've tracked my cycle only for the last 5 months and it's usually around 26 days but the longest was 31. (Yes, I'm aware that's average) but I'm curious to know if anyone had any issues ttc, on average when you ovulated, if you found anything that you believed help you to conceive.

I haven't bothered with ovulation strips yet, if we fail to conceive shortly we may resort to them and maybe we will even go to a doctor to see if both of us are okay in the baby making department.

Yes I know for healthy couples it can take up to a year and over but I'd rather address it early incase there is an issue seeing as I'd rather have piece of mind because we would like to be young parents, I'm turning 24 and he's turning 25.

Update: as for missing my "window" we usually have sex every 2nd day up until my period starts, my partner is a very sexual person

Mine is 25-28 and I ovulate anywhere between cd11 and cd14 and I wouldn't have realized I was ovulating as soon as 5-6 days after my period without the Ovulation kits- I temp but if you just rely on temping you only know after the fact that O happened. Might be worth it to try oks now! Good luck

I think you should try ovulation sticks now.  If you have that much of a difference you could be missing your window entirely each month.  My cycle is 24-28 but most of the time 26.  I also ovulate later so that doesn't leave much time for implantation for me.

I was always 26 or 31 days.. I know how annoying it is haha but I tracked my period for 4 years before ttc. We thought we would have problems because of my period being so weird but I ended up getting pregnant on the first try.
