Drs in my town are a joke.

My son has been coughing, spitting up & i can hear the mucus or fluid at the back of his throat, I have been sucking out his boogers but other than that I don't know what to do the humidifier doesn't seem to be working. Anyways, I called his Dr office yesterday and told the receptionist what was going on & she said "we're closed, I dont know what to tell you" wtf? You can't make me an appt at the very least??? We ended I going to urgent care and the Dr there said he has a sore throat and is started to get a cold & then sent us home, she didn't tell me what I could possibly do for him, I understand he's still too young for medicine of any kind but at least help me out a little before it gets worse right?? I decided to drive 2 hours to valley children's & i hope they can atleast help me, help him a little more.
