I Almost Missed My Ovulation 😳

TK
UPDATES UPDATES UPDATES‼️
Okay, so I know a few ladies have been following my updates because I'm trying something totally new this month and I hope it works, but obviously my ovulation is way earlier than I expected. But hey, less time for me to wait to see a BFP 😂 I have a regular 30 day cycle, but it seems to be a tad lengthier since I began TTC. Glow was predicting my fertile week to begin Saturday (11th), but my My Days app said the 8th. I took an opk on the 8th and got a clear negative, so I assumed Glow was probably more accurate with their predictions. Yesterday it was the 10th & something kept telling me to test. (I'm so used to refraining from POAS). I took it around 2pm, not expecting anything but it quickly turned to what I thought might be a positive, so I posted it on here & about 6 or 7 people commented and all said positive. And it just so happens that that trip to the bathroom was my first sign of clear, egg white mucus. So I knew it was about time, but me & bae went to work, I got home & tested again around 12am, positive. So we BD'd. This morning, the supposed start of just my fertile week, I tested again around 11am. Even darker positive. We BD'd again. Gonna BD again after work & tomorrow, but I know I'll probably be ovulating tonight or early tomorrow morning. 😂😂 Hopefully the guys from last night or earlier do the job. But anyways, what I did differently this cycle..
1) I began taking Vitafusion Prenatal Vitamins weeks prior. Tons of research, but several vitamins in them do things from making sure the egg & follicles are healthy & strong, to ensuring implantation is successful. And if you do conceive, your baby's nutrients are already waiting.
2) Got hubby on multivitamins. So many vitamins help his sperm. The strength, motility, etc. IT HELPS! Plus, healthy vitamins for him.
3) We both started taking selenium after my period. It aids in the development of healthy ovarian follicles which are responsible for the production of eggs. And you guessed it, helps his reproductive system as well.
4) One slice a day of pineapple with the core intact from the day I got my first positive opk. Pineapples contain bromelain with a huge concentration in it's core. Bromelain is nature's aspirin, so it's a blood thinner. Which encourages great blood flow, which in turn causes more blood to be pushed to your uterine lining (causes a heavier period, but worth a try). Bae eats pieces of my pineapples, but it's ok cause it's vitamin C, so it helps his sperm. 😂 Don't eat for more than a week because it's too acidic. Which also means don't eat it before you get a positive, because it can make your CM pH out of wack, which is a horrible environment for sperm.
5) This is my first month using OPKS. It's obviously worth it because going by your apps predictions will have you messed up, sis!!
6) And finally, I will start taking a beta carotene supplement right now to be exact. Supports successful ovulation and it's said to greatly protect against early miscarriages. 😳
Trust me, I've done tons of research. I'll try to keep you ladies updated. But we'll see in 2 weeks whether this method of things work. I put a few, inexpensive methods together & came up with this. I REALLY hope this month is my month. The HPTs are ready. 🤗✨ BABY DUST!!!!!
