I got my positive ovulation test last night!

Okay I got my positive ovulation test this morning my SO doesn't get home until 9:30 tonight. We bd everyday for the last week..I just took another ovulation test a few minutes ago and the line is lighter now, is it too late if we bd when he gets home? Could I have missed my surge? ☹️
