temp rise day of peak reading

I didn't test with opk yesterday bc I always start testing too early and use too many sticks. I've been ovulating around cd 21 according to my temperature. I also didn't temp yesterday morning bc I went out and drank with friends I hadn't seen in almost 2 years. This morning my temp was 98.2 on cd 16. Cd 12-15 my temp was 96.9. I took a CBAD opk and got a solid smiley. We BD immediately bc I was nervous we have already missed our chance with the temp rise. I know the egg can stay around for a bit so I'm praying we catch it...I'm beating myself up bc I went out and drank and didn't test or temp bc I never ovulate this early...
