Is it normal that I have never had an orgasm during sex?

I haven't ever really had an orgasm during sex. It's not my boyfriend's fault, I know that. The only time I can orgasm is by myself, and that even takes a lot out of me. I'm just really curious. I heard that there is something called HSDD, but I desire sex a lot. Any advice?

I'm the same way! Clit action during sex is the only answer for me. It's totally normal though a lot of women can't orgasm just with penetration. Just use the clit & it usually turns the guy on. I have my SO watch and he loves it

Yay ive had the same thing with my partner of 4 years. I think it's mostly just try different things and don't worry about orgasming. I find if im focusing on that too much i just cant.

No idea what HSDD is but it's completely normal. I've been with my bf for 5 months, only orgasms with him once. He has been the only partner to make me orgasm. I've only had 3. But just like you, I usually can get myself there better than anyone else. I would say talk to him and guide him. Tell him what makes you feel good, whether he should speed up/slow down, or whatever you desire
