I need some advice on periods!!

So I'm going on holiday to Orlando in June with my boyfriend and according to this app I will be getting my period right in the middle of the holiday, which sucks; especially as I have my period for 7 days. 😩

I am of course on the pill, so I know I can skip a month and carrying on taking the pill, but this doesn't work for me, I always get break through bleeding.

So is there anything else I can do to not have the period or somehow skip it? My boyfriend says to just deal with it and just use a tampon the whole time, but I don't want my period on holiday!! 🙄
