Pregnancy on Last Day of Period?

Hello,

I am looking for some insight if anyone has got pregnant on the last day of their period.

My cycle averages 24-25 days. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex on Friday, March 11th (closer to early Saturday morning on March 12th), where he ejaculated inside of me without a condom. My period was over and I only had some dark brown discharge.

We did not take Plan B because we thought I wouldn't be fertile for a few more days however, I am reading online that Sperm can live for up to 5 days which would take me near my ovulation date. It is too late to take Plan B now because the 72 hour window has lapsed.

Does anyone have any insight if they have been or heard of a simile situation as mine? We are both a little nervous right now.

Since your cycle is short (24-25 days), it's totally possible for the sperm to live inside of you for a few days and for you to conceive. It's not unheard of for sperm to live up to 7 days.
You could try plan B, since you probably haven't ovulated yet. Plan B makes your uterus hostile and inhabitable for an egg to implant. If you haven't even ovulated yet, there's plenty of time for it to work.
Plan B is expensive and not very good for you, I encourage you to find a better form of birth control for the future!

Thanks Jessa, we are looking at an actual form of birth control for the future. We have used Plan B once before and it was not a fun experience. Do you think the Plan B would still work now even though 72 hours has passed?
