Nursery Water.. boil?

Question

So today I  just realized that on the label it says to boil the water first and let it cool. I haven't been doing that and wonder is it necessary? If so I  feel horrible because I haven't been. Baby is doing fine.

I just use the filtered water from my fridge. Never boil it

My doctor said to boil until 3 months then you don't have to anymore

I never boiled or bought water. We have well water and use it straight out if the sink.

I've never boiled it either & haven't had any problems. I think it's fine.

I boiled the water until baby was about 7 months then didn't bother anymore. If you have good clean water I don't think it's necessary. For sterilising water needs to be at a rolling boil for something like 10 minutes and a kettle isn't doing that anyway
