We were told by his pedi that we should be having him use a sippy FULLY for meals by 10 months an doff the bottle by 1. I don't fully trust it because they told us before by 4 months he should be using a sippy

My daughter weaned herself from the bottle right around 12 months!! She never used a sippy until she started playing with her bottles, took to the sippy with no issues and never missed her bottle. She got sick a couple months after and I tried giving her pedialyte in a bottle and she looked at me like I was crazy. Haha

Any dr will tell u to stop bottles at 12 months. We did w my first child and he was upset firna day or two w out his bottle then got over it. I will try at 12 months w my second baby too, hopefully she does just as well. So nice not to have to wash bottles all the time!
