when to start buying baby stuff?

I'm 14 weeks and I have only gotten 1-2 little outfits. My mother in law has a stockpile of gender neutral items until we find out the gender. When do I need to start buying more? When did you start getting things together?

I started shopping at 9 weeks. Getting diapers and any gender neutral baby items we found on sale. Then once I found out the gender we got the nursery stuff and clothes. We had everything bought before 30 weeks.

With my 1st and 2nd i shopped immediately. With this one I'm waiting until after my baby shower. I'll be 30 weeks.

I had everything together since the beginning lol. I had a Mmc in August so I already had a lot.

I'm 24 weeks now and everything is almost done. Just need to wait for my baby shower in 6 weeks for the rest.
