How do you feel about naming your son after his dad?

I personally don't mind since I know my husband and I are going to be together forever and with my hubby's name it be adorable, but what do you ladies think?

I'm not really a family name person, so I wouldn't. I have no issue with other people doing so! 
I'm not sure what it is for me personally though, I think I just want my kids to grow up knowing they were uniquely them in that way. No remembrance of anyone else in the family, just... them?

If I ever have a little boy I plan on him and my boyfriend having the same middle name- James. There's not many boys middle names I like so James it is 💕

My husband is a '3rd' and his dad assumed we'd use the name again. Thank god my husband said no way.

I hate it...but it's stupid tradition for my dh. (He's the fifth!!!!!!) So I think I have to. 😕
