best video recorder to use to capture birth? 🤔

I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to using a camcorder but I really want to be able to capture the birth of my son on video. I am wanting something I can just set up behind me in a good spot and not have to mess with, but also something that is easy on my bank account. Anyone have a recommendation?

My cousin had someone in the room with her wearing a GoPro lol but maybe something like that you could ask someone to wear for you?? Idk how much they are

Are you doing a home birth? Otherwise, make sure to check with your hospital or birthing center. Many have rules against recordings during the birth.
