First Sonogram!!! So nervous!!!

My first appointment is next Tuesday. According to this app I will be 5w 1d. Not sure if they will do a sonogram or just take blood. If they do a sonogram, what should I expect to see. What have others seen that early? Should my hubby go with me or is it not necessary this early? I'm so extremely nervous about the whole thing because it doesn't feel real yet. My mom had several miscarriages and an ectopic, so I always thought I would be in the same boat!
