I went to the ER yesterday due to leg cramping and bleeding. They ran a bunch of test did both an external and internal ultrasound. The doctor came in and told me I was 5w and 1d and that my pregnancy looked healthy and all she had left to do was a pelvic exam and I could leave. So I had a sigh of relief for less than 5 minutes. She did the pelvic exam and said oh dear your cervix is open and that explains the bleeding and then took back everything she said about a healthy pregnancy. I've never cried so hard in my life. I was there by myself because my husband is underway(deployed) and all my family lives on the west coast. She gave me a follow-up appointment with an OB on Monday morning and told me to rest until then. I'm still bleeding but no real cramping. Has anyone experienced this before and gone on to have a healthy baby?
