Update on my ER bleeding visit....

So yesterday I was bleeding heavily at work. My hubby rushed to pick me up, and we went to the ER. We were there for literally 8.5 hours (ridiculous I know). I've had bleeding on/Off since I was 5 weeks pregnant due to my hemorrhage. Anytime I bleed, I go to the dr. To get an ultrasound. I'm now 13 weeks. And @12am...My OB is closed obviously. Normally, I'm calm....Because I bleed all the time, and know it's the hemorrhage. BUT...What scared me this time was the bleeding was WAY HEAVIER like a period...and gushing out. Anyways...fast forward to the ER. After hours....they take us to get an ultrasound. By the grace of god, my baby was bouncing around, and sucking it's thumb ! Heart beat was 168. We were sooooo happy!! Because that's all that mattered. They drew so much blood. Put me on an IV. When the dr finally got the results (like any ER dr.) They say "threatened miscarriage". I'm like yeah....I've been bleeding since 5 weeks, and God's obviously got this baby strapped in for the whole 9 months. But...I just said okay, thanks. They seen the hemorrhage as well. Just thankful my baby is still healthy. I hate that the ER always says miscarriage miscarriage. And try and scare you....When the baby is healthy, and they see where the bleeding is coming from. But whatever. What do you expect from someone who isn't an OB. When I go to my OB for bleeding, they never say miscarriage anything. They just do an ultrasound, and push bed rest. It's just a really scary pregnancy for me, with all of the bleeding. But all I can do is keep my prayer strong. And thank God for the babies health.
