irregular periods and falling pregnant ?

I posted this before but think it was in the wrong section ! But I was wondering if any ladies have been put on the pill to regulate their periods and when they have come off , were you easily able to fall pregnant , have troubles or need further treatments etc As I was originally put on the pill at 16/17 to regulate my periods (they were all over the place) I'm now 21 and have been with my partner for a few years and eventually we would like to start trying for a baby and I just wanted some insight on this situation to look at what we may be facing :) thank you for any input/advice xx
