has anyone taken Percocet during pregnancy?

Let me start off by saying it was a last resort for me as I couldn't take the gallbladder pain I was getting anymore, last night. This medicine has been prescribed to me while I was 26 weeks pregnant due to my frequent gallbladder attacks. I'm now going on 31 weeks and this is the first time I've taken it. My doctor said I could take it but there is a risk of addiction. So far I've only taken one and I don't plan on taking it frequently, typically a Tylenol is enough to take the edge off but last night it was pretty unbearable even after taking the medicine 😰

I'm just wondering if anyone else has taken it and how things worked out for them.

I'll respond before ppl go into attack mode lol. If you are taking it every so often as needed you and baby are fine. They mention risk of addiction if you are taking it regularly before leading up to the birth. You are better off not in pain. Pain can cause stress on your body. Don't beat yourself up for having to take something to help it. Plus they offer Percocet as a pain med after you give birth if you need something and tell moms you can still breastfeed cuz it's better to not be in pain and stress yourself. On a side note, I am also a nurse before anyone mentions me giving medical advice lol

I didn't take anything for my attacks, the one time I took a Tylenol I threw it up 😑. I was able to make mine stop but not eating greasy foods more than once in a day. If I ate it twice I'd get an attack. I also googled all the food that caused it and tried to avoid as many as I could. 
   However as long as your dr prescribed it it's fine, just take them as needed is all.

No i never took anything while having gal bladder attacks with my 3rd pregnancy. I had it removed 5 weeks postpartum.
Have you changed your diet to a fully whole food/clean diet? That'll reduce or even remove attacks from occurring.
Best to you. Hope you can get it under control without narcotics but I do understand that if they occur regardless of diet changes etc that they are more painful than unmedicated labor and delivery....which I've done 5 times.
