Am I being irrational?

Question

I just need to vent for a hot tick. I work at a restaurant. I work nights but while My boyfriend stays home and watches our little one amd keeps the house clean. I am totally appreciative for everything he does. So i let him sleep as late as he wants before i go to work. I still cook dinner and do dishes and stuff amd take care of our baby at night and in the morning.

But... After a long shift of work last night.... I have work today in the morning at 10 am and I need sleep. I just thought he wouldve been more receptive and gotten up with our baby in the middle of the night. Just this one time cause I have work in the morning. 
I am working 11 days in a row and 6 days a week onward. Mostly at night.

Nope...not being irrational at all.  He may not be the kind of guy who thinks of things like that though.  But he needs to.  Bring it up.

Men are not receptive. So if you are usually the one to get up with the baby every night, even if your schedule is getting crazy, until he is asked to do something different, he's going to continue on what has been working, as not to upset the "flow of things". That's just how guys are.

You can't assume that he will be receptive of your needs. You have to tell him what you need.
