venting about my husband

He is a great husband. Let me just get that out first. He's also a great father as well as a great husband. But he has two issues. Spending money. He has maxed out his credit card more then a dozen times. I've tried taking away the credit card but all his information is in the Xbox system so he doesn't need it anyways. Yes he spends it on video games that's his second issue. I've tried putting our money into it to try paying it off but every time I log back into his bank account to see where we are at the money is spent all over again. I've tried multiple times to talk to him about it and it seems to go in one ear out the other. I want to pay it off so we don't have to worry about that bill anymore. So today I told him if he doesn't stop spending it then it will ruin our marriage.. I feel horrible for saying it but I'm tired of constantly telling him he needs to stop spending the money. It's a 1500 dollar credit card and it hasnt left the the 1000 dollar area in four months, and I've been putting 650 into it every month. But before the month is up he has spent the money on video games.. I'm just getting so frustrated... I know it's helping his credit but I hate being that far into debt.. does anyone have any advice? I've also tried getting him help and it doesn't work and neither does marriagecounseling...
