Oh god why???? 100% disposable. Millions of babie have been wearing disposable diapers for many many years, and they are perfectly fine and healthy, Why would you want to wash a poop filled cloth diaper! I've seen some big blowouts! That's disgusting and such a hassle.

I'm going to cloth diaper! Reducing chemicals touching baby and reducing disposables going to the landfill woohoo! Definitely see if there's any cloth diapering classes in your area. I attended a free one at a local baby boutique and it was so helpful. You'll learn about the different diapers. We're doing a mix of fitted, all in ones and all in twos. Get different brands so you can see what you and your baby like.  Also see about getting any second hand diapers to save money. You'll do a cleaning procedure called stripping (google fluff love science and their website will tell you the steps) so they will definitely be clean! I was able to a huge stock pile of second hand diapers for $100! Still bought some new ones too because they're so cute and I'm addicted🙂

I adore cloth diapers, they're incredibly cute and have so many benefits! From different types of cloth diapers to washing routines and effective detergents to pros and cons, they have the answer to anything you can think of! Personally Alvababy is my favorite brand, I love the pocket diapers and have the most of those but I also have prefolds and AIO. Best of luck to you! 😄

It tends to be cheaper in the long run. I have button diapers which are cheaper and it is one cover for the whole time. And I use there liners so poop doesn't go on the inserts, which means no stained nasty inserts! 😊 But I did use disposable diapers for my newborn and I use them when I'm going to have a long day and don't want to be holding dirty diapers with me.

We switched from disposables to all in one cloth at 11months old. Reduced chemical exposure and cost. I wouldn't do cloth on a newborn tho with as often as they poop.
