preeclampsia and aspirin
Anyone out there that had preeclampsia with their first pregnancy get put on low dose aspirin with their second? The maternal fetal medicine specialist I saw today for my nuchal ultrasound said it's pretty standard practice (there's an article in the American college of OBGYN to confirm that) but my OB has made zero mention of starting it.
I plan on calling my OB tomorrow to discuss this. I was already on the fence about switching OBs so I just wanted to know if this truly is a common practice and my OB really missed the boat.
