Punishment for child abusers (trigger warning)

Prison? Rehab? Death sentence? What do y'all think? Personally, I'm currently in the middle of a sexual assault on a child case and those who know it's my case, all have their different opinions on what punishment my abuser should get. It went on for 13 years so I want him to have 13yrs. My mom wants rehab. My grandma wants life in prison. My aunt wants him killed. Of course my case is slightly extreme but I believe this is a controversial topic.
