Two month has a cough and boogers family said it was okay to use the vaporizer but since I'm a FTM I'm freaking out about actually using it...it says here not to if under 2 I was wondering why? And has any other parents used it for there infant ?

Infants shouldn't be exposed to Vicks, baby Vicks is supposed to be fine, though. At that age, I wouldn't do anything other than saline, nasal suctioning, steamy bathroom, and unmedicated humidifier. If you're desperate, baby Vicks on their little feet.

The vaporizer instructions are telling you to add something to it other than water. Just run it with water nothing else.

I think we used a humidifier when he was younger. Is that the same thing?

I used it just put on other side of room. Done the trick n everything's fine

I did with my first as she had terrible allergies, just point it away from baby and don't use any additives (like Vicks) ..Salt added to water dose help though,  also if you bottle feed try not warming up milk (can use room temp or cold if tolerated) it cut down​ the mucus production​ for my lil one back then and was also recommend by pediatrician to do so.
