How long did you mommies wait to take your newborn out in public?

Took our baby out at 3 weeks old to the mall and then to church the following day. Ever since then we take her out... 😊

I won't be taking baby out of the house besides dr appointments for at least the first 2-3 months. 
Reason:
I have virtually no immune system so therefore I catch everything and don't want to risk passing anything to my baby. So my husband and MIL will be doing all errand running.

With in days I go out. I get more "you should be at home resting" than anything about taking my baby out.

She was 4 days old on her first trip to the store.  And was out every day after that until she was 2 weeks old. We had stuff to do and I was not going to hide away in the house. Exposure to basic day-to-day germs is good for their immune system.

Besides 1st appointment and photoshoot, it was after 3 weeks. He was born in Summer.
But this time I'll wait a bit longer because baby is due in the heart of winter

Three months. I didn't want my child around all the germs and nasty shit..especially with all this sickness and flu and colds going around....I'm not risking anything I won't have my child sick just because I needed something I can wait till my husband gets home to watch the child and I can go out and go shopping come home wash myself up so my child doesn't get any nasty yucky germs some mothers care if the baby gets sick some don't give a shit and leave to go get pointless shit
