Pregnant nurses, when did you go off work?

Or when do you plan on going off? I'm almost 28 weeks and im just in so much pain.

I plan on working until I go into labor. I'd prefer to save my time off for cuddling a baby in my arms, not waiting around for him to be born lol

I stopped working at 38w3d. I made sure to stay hydrated throughout my shifts and took breaks as much as I could in my busy unit. For the most part my team were very supportive and always covered for me when I needed a few minutes.

25 weeks and going strong. Planning on working till my water breaks. Lol.

I worked up till induction. My first son was @ 40 weeks exactly. Second son was 39 weeks.

It's painful and exhausting. I do 3 x 12s in a row. Which as we all know aren't 12 hour shifts. They are more like 13.5 HR shifts. So you just grin and bare it.

I guess it depends where you are too. I'm in canada so we're lucky to have a year of mat leave. Most nurses here I've heard from go off before 30 weeks.

I worked up until I had to have an emergency c-section at 35 weeks  and 5days. My plan was to work until my due date.

I plan on working until I am 36 weeks. Currently 18 weeks and already have back ache after a long day on my feet 😫!

My Dr put me on leave at 33 weeks due to my high BP

My sister worked until she was 40 weeks exactly.
