Menstrual cup issues...

So, I've been using the lena cup for just over a year now and never see myself going back to tampons/pads. However, I've found that my cup sits very high and sometimes it's nearly impossible for me to take it out without literally squatting on the bathroom floor and contorting in some pretty wild positions. Also, perhaps because it sits so high there's like a 50/50 chance it'll leak even though I put it in the same way every time... I read that maybe I should switch to a longer-shaped cup like the lily cup, but before I spend the money on another brand I was wondering if any of you have had a similar issue and if it was resolved by switching cups?
