ECP....

So I had sex about week after my period finished and took the ECP straight away. About 4 days later I got my period again (currently on 4th day of this period) , when my actual period isn't due for another 2 weeks. Tried to research it but can't get any answers as it says periods should only be early by a week. Not sure what this means?! Thank youuu in advance for any answers
