Over time race relations have improved, but there is much more work needed to be done within society, economics, eduction, work force.

As I commented on the other post about morality; race relations overall is getting better than at other points in history. Not to say that we still don't have a long road ahead of us. I've had to define white privilege quite a few times today to people and the day isn't even over yet. But I think overall we are progressing as a society and we have come a long way from even when I was a child 20-some years ago.

It's definitely gotten so much worse in the last few years.  It's horrible.  It's not against one specific group . Everyone is acting like a fucking fool lately!

Race has gotten better in everyday life for some races. But systematically it's become worse for all races.

I feel over the last 8 years the media has focused on making an issue out of race. If the media saw a white man and a black man standing next to each other and the white man picked lint off of the black man shoulder they would report he did it out of racism. When race is pushed there ratings go up.

They use sensational headlines to draw people in and do not present all of the facts.
