How can you tell ?

How can you tell the difference between an evap line and a faint positiv?. I'm 35 dpo and 21 days late for af. The line appeared almost immidetly after taking the test. Tmi but I peed on the test , wiped, flushed, pulled up pants and looked at the test and it had a very faint line. It's a blue dye test btw.
