No Movement of Baby...?

Question

So this may be a stupid question and I should have asked my Dr. when I was at my appointment but I just thought of this now. 
What does it usually mean if a woman hasn't felt her baby move all day? (Not saying that mine hasn't) I was just curious as to what it meant..

If a baby shows signs of decreased fetal movement, it could be in distress or not getting the oxygen and nutrients that it needs (a slow amniotic leak, a dysfunctional umbilical cord, or placental detachment are the 3 main causes of that). It's deadly. 
So if a mom notices her baby isn't moving like it normally would, she should definitely drink something cold and sugary/caffeinated and lay down and make sure she gets 10 kicks within 2 hours. If she doesn't feel the 10 kicks, she should call her doctor who may want her to come in for a non-stress test to make sure baby is healthy and ok.

Answer

If you lay down, drinks something cold and sugary and wait 2 hours, there should be movement.

If there isn't you should go to the hospital.
