My daughter's name is a lot like mine. I have two first names, my mother's maiden names as my middle name, and my father's last name as my last name. Mine: Arissa Laleinea Taitano Delos Santos. Now it's: Arissa Laleinea Taitano Martinez now that I'm married. My husband only has a fist name and a last name so I was glad when he agreed to have our daughter's name be like mine. My daughter's name is: Tasi Elizabeth Delos Santos Martinez. Tasi is Chamorro for ocean and Elizabeth is my mom's middle name.

Some choose to not give girls middle names, because it's assumed they'll use their maiden name once married. Not something I agree with, but I don't think it's uncommon.

I don't have a middle name! Neither do my sisters or my mom. Only my brother and dad do and that's because they have the same name. I chose to give my kids middle names though. I always wanted one loll.

My husband dont have one, his brother dont nor their dad. None of our children have them either. I found it odd at first but we actually changed my daughters name because she had a middle name and i wanted her to fit with the other siblings. I think i like it better with no middle name. Plus takes stress off trying to come up with more than 1 name
