Should gambling be banned?

Nah. If you're responsible gambling is cool. The irresponsible ones should discipline themselves.

It's the same as a lot of other things. It's fine for a lot of people. Some people can't handle it and go overboard... but for the people who do it responsibly and for fun shouldn't suffer because of it.

No. It should be taxed and regulated like everything else. You'll never stop it, it just goes underground. With the internet it's so easily accessible for literally any type. Might as well make money that (theoretically) will be recycled back into your state. One town from where I'm from opened a giant casino and it went from a failing suburb to making tons of money off of tax revenues. Hawaii, where I live now, EVERYONE that watches sports has a bookie. You're literally just funding drug dealers and thugs.

I don't think it should be banned. Though sometimes I wish it was bc my MIL has a bad gambling addiction problem and certainly does not have the money to afford it. It's really frustrating. But I don't think everyone should be penalized bc some people can't handle it.

Definitely no. We shouldn't have to be governed in every aspect and abide by laws that prevent people to live and do things like smoke a plant, or make an adult decision. Gamble at your own risk.
